International Nursing Students’ Conference 2025
It’s CEFI making waves in the international scene once again, as two BSN students dominated in the International Nursing Students’ Conference held on Oct. 11, 2025.
The study of Kaela Rolaine H. Sasot with the title “Exploring the Diverse Perspectives on Nurses with Visible Tattoos: A Multi-Grounded Theory Approach” was hailed as the Best Research Paper, while she herself was awarded as 3rd Best Presenter.
Meanwhile, it was Christ Kirby F. Sta. Maria who bagged the Best Presenter award. His paper on “The Unknown War: A Qualitative Analysis of Emergency Room Nurses in Handling Trauma Cases” was judged as 2nd Best Research Paper.
Seven international schools joined this competition organized by CEFI’s partner school in Malaysia, the Universiti Teknologi Mara.
Sasot’s co-authors are Juliet C. San Luis, LPT, Maurice R. Villafranca, RN, MAN, CNN, and Dr. Wilma O. Rivadenera. Sta. Maria’s paper was co-written by Bridget P. Laza, Trixie Jane Turqueza, Rosita Gloria, RN, MAN, and Dr. Rivadenera.
