Calayan Educational Foundation, Inc. participated for the first time in the 3rd National Teacher Education Quiz Bee 2026 (NTEQ 2026) of Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC), with the theme “ASEAN to the World” at the Centro Pastoral, Lucena City, March 12.

Ms. Alaiza Rey, Editor-in-Chief of the CEFIzen Gazette, delivered a strong performance in the quiz bee as she finished just one point away from a Top 3 position.

Along with her were Ms. Geneve Mercurio and Ms. Aira Aranilla, who also represented CEFI in the competition. They were accompanied by their coaches, Mr. Jeric Romero and Ms. Annalisa Jamilano.
