In this age, the need for collection, organization, access, and conceptualization of information that is at the core of the Information Age. PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) program prepares students to be IT professionals and be expert on design and implementation of IS for business processes.
Educational objectives of the BS Information System program are the knowledge, skills, and experiences that enable graduates to:-
- Investigate and analyze business problems, providing reliable and secure computerized solutions;
- Grow professionally through activities such as graduate study, continuing education, professional certifications, and participation in professional organizations;
- Think critically and creatively, communicate clearly, work effectively with others, and develop leadership skills;
- Demonstrate an understanding of social and ethical issues in the computer profession;
- Understand the organizational impact of computer-based information systems.
HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT
  The BS in Information System course was established together with the BS in Business Administration and BS in Accountancy in 2009. Its former name was the College of Information System, Business and Accountancy or CISBA. Since both courses are growing in numbers, the Information System course separated from the CISBA Department in 2015 and it was then called as the College of Information System.
