A new academic year always brings a renewed sense of direction for what lies ahead. We are facing a challenging year as the headwinds of a rapidly changing educational landscape are encroaching upon us, suggesting swift response, lest CEFI becomes obsolete. New trends and issues in education are myriad and they demand CEFI’s full attention to address them. There are more drives in place at the moment to make our humble institution responsive to these developments and concerns. This, because we are being true to our mandate to provide the best education to our learners. Thus, brace yourselves for a stirring year as CEFI treads uncharted waters. We shall consider AI and other borderless sources of learning in our instruction. CEFI shall enter into more linkages with local and international partners to expand its frontiers. Expect a heightened research culture too. Our physical facilities shall undergo a facelift for a livelier and more inspiring student life for our learners.

To our new students, welcome to CEFI. With your entry to this humble institution, you are now officially CEFIzens. Thank you for choosing CEFI to start your academic journey. This is your second home and we shall strive to make your stay here pleasant while challenging. While here, embrace every opportunity that will make you a better student. Make new connections, engage in meaningful discourse, try something new. Your time here is a gift that many are not blessed with. I urge you to use it wisely.

To our continuing students, welcome back! Your return is testament to your trust in our institution’s ideals of excellence and scholarship. Continue to engage fully in your classes. Be active in school activities. Serve the community that beckons for to you. Forge lasting friendships that will serve you well in the future. May I remind you that CEFI is not just a place of learning; it is a place that equips you with the tools that will help you carve a trail while navigating your educational path. What you learn here should empower you to make a difference no matter where you go. Hopefully, CEFI transforms you into resilient and adaptable persons, the better to face adversities when they come along.
